In Brief!
We are an amateur society, run totally by volunteers, bringing live theatre to you at a reasonable price. We usually perform several plays a year along with our traditional family pantomime. If you have any questions about booking tickets, payment, insurance, seating, special needs, in fact anything please read the information on the Book Tickets page before messaging. We have tried to include answers to the most popular enquiries (there are a lot of them) here to save you time. Being staffed entirely by volunteers, we may not be able to deal with your enquiries immediately, so we hope that you will find the answers here a little faster
TLT does not accept any form of card/mobile banking payments at the theatre (or over the phone), we regret that we are 'cash only', except via our on-line booking service, so please bring along some good old fashioned money to buy your refreshments, programmes, raffle tickets etc. To find the nearest cash dispenser (ATM), go up Lemon Street and turn right on to Elliott Street. The ATM is situated about 20 mtrs along on the right, charges may be made.

Booking Notes - Please Read these along with the book tickets page as these will hopefully answer your questions and save both you and us time
We are listing some bits and pieces here regarding booking seats which we hope will be useful to patrons who may not be familiar with using the internet to book seats. You also may find it useful to print these out before you start your booking so that they are to hand while you are booking
Before the tickets go on sale make sure that you have all the information that you need, ready to book ... the correct date/performance that you want to book for (VERY IMPORTANT), the number in your party, where you want to sit and that everyone in your party knows what date you are booking for and is actually available on that date/time - Once again, last year tickets sold so quickly (over 1,000 in the first 20 minutes, oh yes they did), it was not possible to transfer bookings to a different performance due to any errors. Yes, last year people did book for the wrong date or performance!! We have two matinees and two evening performances on both Saturdays please be sure that you book the correct one. We have one enquiry line and a total of 1251 seats for the run, there were over 250 people waiting to book when the clock hit zero... please don't make a mistake!!! - Will do do our best to help with any errors but this will be limited. We are hoping that this year the TicketSource web portal will not crash!!
Please read the 'book tickets' page .. here (opens a new window), including the frequently asked questions at the bottom, before ticket go on sale. Yes there is a lot to read on this page (you may want to print this out as well) but it may help you when booking and save you and us time and worry
When booking don't use your browser's 'back button', you may lock yourself out of the booking system and use, wherever possible a wired computer or lap-top. Wifi connections of all types can cause problems at the payment stage and you may not have the time to sort this out. If this is a problem, sadly there is nothing that we can do to help you
Make sure that your credit/debit card is valid and up to date and have a back-up card just in case
Make sure that you have a 'solid' internet connection. A poor connection may cause your booking to freeze. If this happens you will not be able to continue with your original booking for 20 minutes, so exit and start again booking different seats, as when your first choice finally becomes available (20 minutes later), someone else might just beat you to it!! To repeat, we have been informed that bookings that fail at the payment stage are due to security issues with a poor wifi/internet connection
When the clock reaches 'zero' go to the booking page.. here (you may need to refresh your screen and accept cookies from TicketSource)
Go down the booking page to the 'event' section and click on the 'show event' bar for 'Aladdin'. This will open a list of performances. Click on the 'book now' bar for the one that you want to book for and off you go - if the booking section still shows 'coming soon' either refresh your screen or you are too early!
Then, choose the total number of seats that you want on either the balcony the auditorium or even split between to two (please get it right) and enter the number that you want (you cannot leave a single seat in the middle of a row), then, follow the prompt to go to the next screen and choose your seats. Once you have done this, the system will hold your reservation for 20 minutes to give you time to complete the other details. Follow the prompts to choose your ticket style, enter your personal details and pay. If you make a mistake and need to return to a previous screen use the 'back' prompt on screen, not your browser back button (see previous comments). When your booking is complete, your tickets will be emailed to you at the address that you entered, unless you have chosen to have them posted to you, which is not really neccesary, but they are pretty!! Bookings are limited to 20 seats so that everyone gets a fair chance to book tickets. You have to be quick, but be accurate, you will only realise that you have made a terrible mistake when you press that final 'enter' key... this is 'normal' practice for many people!!!
Finally mark your diary, calender, phone, fridge door, knotted hanky, those sticky bits of yellow paper or whatever you use to remember things. Don't forget to come, and please....make sure that you come to the correct performance!!!

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION
After the success of this service during out 2025/26 season, we are continuing with the TicketSource 'Telephone Box Office' service. This should not be confused with the usual TLT General Enquiry Line enquiry number. The TicketSource 'Telephone Box Office' enables you to phone TicketSource directly to book your tickets over the phone using your credit/debit card, a service which TLT cannot offer on our General Enquiry Line number. The system is similar to booking on-line and is ideally suited to patrons who find booking via the internet difficult for whatever reason. We must stress that this TicketSource service should only be used for booking tickets as their staff will not be able to answer any general questions about the production, the theatre, facilities, parking etc., or deal with any problems. For problems or general enquiries you should still use the TLT General Enquiry Line number, email tickets@tlt.org.uk or read the Frequently Asked Questions section at the bottom of the bookings page - Click Here
TicketSource'Telephone Box Office'number is 0333 666 3366 (Bookings Only) and is only open when tickets for a partitcular production are on sale
Lines are open - Monday to Friday 9:00am to 7:00pm (excluding bank holidays) - Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm - Closed Sunday. Lines close for bookings 2 hours before the performance start time
The TicketSource serviceuses a local rate 03 telephone number, which means that calls should be included in a bundled calls package/contract. Normal call costs range from - up to 16p per minute (landlines) or 3p to 65p per minute (mobiles) depending on your telephone service provider*
